I believe that selective colors and patterns that blend into their surroundings will make a person or thing nearly invisible.

Overview

Since September 11th, when our country was attacked, the United States has gone to war in order to defend itself. I set out through experimentation to create a new and different kind of camouflage to protect our troops from their enemies. Animals use camouflage to protect themselves from their predators, such as a katydid or horned toad.

A katydid is a green bug that has wings that look like leaves.

The horned toad keeps itself safe from predators by camouflaging against rocks and sand.

Our military, like animals and insects, use camouflage to protect themselves from their enemies.
