My hypothesis
was partially correct. I learned that Anole lizards do use their
sight; however, they also use a sense of motion to identify find their
food. A little extra: About the Green Anole The Green Anole is just like a Chameleon, but it is not. It is like a Chameleon because of the way they change colors from green to brown to camouflage to its habitat. They both are highly territorial. The Anole males display regularly to one another by inflating their reddish throat sacks, which indicates a sign of aggression or to attract a female. Anoles are found in the tropics of South and Central America as well as the extreme southeast areas of the United States.
