Procedure

In order to try to make fog, I needed to get warm, moist air and cold air combined. To do this, I gathered together four clear, plastic bottles of two different sizes. I wanted to have different sizes so I can compare which one works better, because I didn’t know how close the hot and cold air needed to be. I filled two bottles with cold water and the other two with hot water, then to make cool air, I put an ice cube in each mouth of the bottles.

Project Assembly

I got four clear plastic bottles and labeled them hot and cold.

I started filling the bottles with hot and cold water.

My sister Lauren assisted.
